Côr Meibion Colwyn with the Triple Crown held by Rhian Jones of Ysgol Pendorlan
At the Wales U20 v Italy U20 International at Parc Eirias on the 9th of March Côr Meibion Colwyn took the opportunity to have a group photograph with the Triple Crown. The trophy was won the previous week after Wales beat England at Twickenham. The Wales Rugby Union chose the U20 game to showcase the Triple Crown in North Wales. The trophy was carried around the ground before the match and during half time by the pupils of Ysgol Pendorlan and featured in our picture it is held by Rhian Jones. Côr Meibion Colwyn sang to the crowd before the games and alongside Côr Alaw, a mixed choir also from Colwyn, sang the anthems for all three of the home internationals and each game was played to a capacity crowd. North Wales have certainly taken the under 20 international side to their hearts.
