Schedule of Events
Just attended a concert (28.6.2025) with Cor Meibion Colwyn and Illinois youth choir, a brilliant evening especially for me when Cor Colwyn sang ‘Myfanwy’, the only song in the world that brings a tear to my eye, so please, please always make this a regular rendition, even better if it was sang as a finale. 😍😍👍👍
David Wyn JonesDear Joanne & all involved at St Mary’s Church Wirksworth, and Colwyn Male Voice Choir.
Thank you so much for your recent, wonderful donation of £580.50 from your recent Charity Concert with the Colwyn Male Voice Choir. I have attached a certificate of ‘Thanks’. If you could please share this information with all those involved and on any Social Media Platforms and Notice Boards to help raise awareness of each other, it would be really helpful. If you wish to join, comment and post on all things Rainbows related on Brighten short lives with Rainbows | Facebook, we would greatly appreciate this.
Just to say a very big thank you all for another amazing concert at St Mary’s Church Wirksworth (21/6/25). Everyone really enjoyed the evening with Cor Meibion Colwyn. We can’t wait to welcome you all back to Wirksworth soon.

Daeth Nirmol a fi draw i wrando i cyngerdd Côr Meibion Colwyn perfformio yn Llandudno yn Mis Mai. Oedd o’n noson wych, diolch o galon I Alun am ein croesawu ac i Owain Gethin am ychwanegu fy hoff gân – Y Chwarelwr – a hynny ar fyr rybudd. Braf iawn hefyd oedd cael gweld dad (Arfon) yn canu ei ben i ffwrdd ac yn mwynhau ei hun ymysg y baswyr. Profiad bendigedig.
Diolch o galon,

Tynedale Hotel, LlandudnoWe booked them to perform at the Tynedale Hotel for a Welsh themed break and we’re glad we did so! Our guests and staff were thoroughly impressed by their powerful and moving performance. They were a great group to work with and used the space we had available very well. We’re still hearing wonderful things from our customers. A fantastic bunch that we’d highly recommend!

We were privileged to see the choir perform at Tyndale Hotel Llandudno on Sunday 27/4/25.They were absolutely superb. My wife, myself and friends just cannot wait to see them again.Well done once again.
Keith LloydEnjoyed your performance at Dingle Church Co Kerry. Excellent performance choice of songs .
Only negative was poor church lighting which would be out of your control 😊
It was a pleasure to welcome your choir to Tralee. On behalf of Tralee youth Rugby Club, thank you again for an amazing performance and I hope you really enjoyed your time in Kerry!
Rob Durran, KerryWe had the privilege of attending a concert featuring Cor Meibion Colwyn when they visited Tralee, Co Kerry in the beautiful southwest of Ireland. Kerry Mental Health Association was one of the charities to benefit from the fundraising event on 21st March which was organised by Tralee Rotary Club.
The quality of the tone and harmonies from the male choir was memorable and we would love to see them return to perform again in the future. The night was rounded-off perfectly with Kerry Choral Union and soloist Ben Glavin also performing.
Thank you to all and best wishes for the future.
John DrummeyWe were honored to welcome the choir to Tralee. They kindly offered to put together a fundraising concert for us. All I can say is that from start to finish it was amazing. It was so easy to organise the concert with them, communication was great. The concert itself was outstanding, everyone in the audience was moved and inspired by the beautiful sounds that filled the church. The concert finished with rapturous applause and a standing ovation. The afterglow was filled with fun and fellowship. We look forward to hopefully welcoming you all back to Kerry, Southern Ireland in the future, Tralee Rotary Club.
Grace O DonnellMy name is Lynne – I am contacting you from Kerry Choral Union, where I am the current Chairperson and Secretary.
Our choir members wanted to let you know what a pleasure it was to share the platform with your Côr Meibion Colwyn choristers on 21st March and to thank you all for contributing to a great night of music in St Brendan’s, Tralee.
We very much hope that we can repeat the experience; perhaps we might explore a visit to you on your home turf next spring? Something to think about.

Since the early years of the Rhos on Sea Rotary Tree of Lights, Cor Meibion Colwyn has helped our efforts to raise funds for St. David’s Hospice to support them in the essential work they do in our communities. Diolch am eich cefnogaeth.

A really great addition to the choir
STUART DAVIES“Fantastic Choir, the best in the area. Their varied repertoire is brilliant and well worth going to listen to them.”
Hywell Roberts“Whilst visiting beautiful north Wales recently, we had the good fortune to attend a chapel concert by Côr Meibion Colwyn. It was one of the highlights of our visit. The choir was magnificent, the soloists were superb, and we were made to feel most welcome (even though we speak very little Welsh!). But maybe we will next time we visit Wales! It was truly a memorable and uplifting evening. We’re enjoying the CD, and the Bara Brith, although that didn’t last us long! Diolch eto.
