We recently held a joint concert with our friends the Werneth Concert Band in Llandudno recently. The first meeting between WCB and Cor Meibion Colwyn was on 3rd November 2001 when we joined together in a Remembrance Day Concert at St Paul’s Church (Colwyn Bay).
The Choir then re-joined WCB for a Summer Concert at Romiley Forum, Stockport on 22nd June 2002. There was a 3rd concert (this time back in Llandudno) on the 11th November 2006. This was a very enjoyable evening in we exchanged gifts but more importantly we enjoyed a musical evening culminating to end both halves with joint items. Firstly Deep Harmony and lastly Cwm Rhondda in which we invited the audience to join us in singing “Guide Me o Thou Great Jehovah”. It was good to rekindle the friendship and hope it will not be too long before share a stage again.
