Patagonia Concert

The choir was pleased to be sharing the stage with some very talented stars of the future at Hebron Chapel in Old Colwyn on Tuesday the 18th of July.

The compere for the evening was the effervescent local character Dilwyn Price that  made it an enjoyable experience for everyone present.

Here are a few details on the other performers of the evening:

Cadi Gwyn – Singer. Year 12 pupil in Ysgol Dyffryn Conwy, Llanrwst. Cadi wrote and performed the winning song in this year’s Cân i Gymru (A Song for Wales – annual competition) and went on to represent Wales at the Pan Celtic Festival. She has been songwriting since she was 10 years old and has won awards at a number of Urdd Eisteddfod competitions. Siôn Dafydd – Singer. Cadi’s younger brother and also a pupil at Ysgol Dyffryn Conwy.
Mariel Havard Griffiths – Year 9 pupil at Ysgol y Creuddyn, Llandudno. Mariel is a talented harpist who has performed regularly, and had success, at local and national Urdd Eisteddfod competitions.
